Eden Stadium Starts Growing from the Ground

On Monday shortly after four o´clock in the evening a new phase of the Eden stadium construction started. General Manager of Hochtief CZ company Tomas Bilek gave an order directly from the site and the crane allocated the first column to the prepared iron-concrete pile. The assembly of these constructions will last till June, the stadium skeleton will be finished in September.“The construction works continue according to the plan, and we also fully capitalise the advantageous weather during this winter,“ Bilek said.Our tip: Look at the photogallery.
The initial column assembly which means that the stadium is going to grow vertically was seen by many honorary guests. Slavia forward Stanislav Vlcek, coach Karel Jarolim and legendary forward Frantisek Vesely were among them. “Another construction phase is upcoming, we will be pleased to see the stadium growing in front of our eyes,“ Slavia coach commented with apparent pleasure.
