The foundation phase of the construction of Eden stadium has been completed. The foundations consisting of 603 piles was finished. “We finished the last pile on Monday, it is situated in the North-Eastern part of the site in the place where the entrance to the underground parking zone is going to be,“ the site manager Michal Přibil said.Our suggestion: Look at new photos.
The length of the iron-concrete pilots ranges from three to nineteen meters. If put them down one by one, they would lead to the statue at the Old Town Square. “It is seven kilometres of material,“ Pribil said.
“At the same time we have been arranging the raft foundation, we are also preparing the assembly of the sewerage system,“ Pribil added.
The stands have been growing since 5 February, when the first column of prefabricated construction was installed. The beams are being put to their place during these days. Ceiling panels are installed on the Eastern stand which is mostly completely installed. “We have been using three cranes – two large ones and one complimentary,“ Pribil also said.
The basic construction of the stadium will be finished in September 2007, the completion of the entire site is planned in March 2008.
