The overall weight of the roof is 1,300 tons. Before the lifting it is assembled on the future pitch area. The individual elements count to eleven, three are in the east, two in the south, four in the west stand and two on the north one.
The construction of the roof does not include internal columns, so there will be a wonderful clear view from all the seats in the stadium.
The wing will have a gradient of 2.5 degrees, from west to the east. It is interesting that the roof will seat the floodlights as the stadium will not have any floodlight columns.
Other works have been ongoing in the site at the same time, the monolitic and prefabricated parts are being built.
The same can be said about internal walls between the columns. The isolation works continue under eastern stand. Also other professions are to start their jobs – the air-conditioning and weak current networks are the ones to be the first.

The Eden stadium gets its roof. A giant crane lifted the first part of the roof last Wednesday. The steel construction weighing more than thirty eight tons was installed on short columns on the top of east wing of the site and also to the columns situated behind the stand.
